There is a growing awareness among those who manage wildlife in the province of the nonconsumptive use of the resource by recreationists. A long term management goal emphasizes the management of wildlife populations near urban centres and in areas of high outdoor recreational use for viewing and photography. This survey is meant to identify wildlife user characteristics at an urban population sample.
