The purpose of this report is to evaluate the fishery resource at Champion Lakes Provincial Park and to propose a viable management scheme. The 1976 interim policy statement stated that "enhancement of the fishery resource in all three Champion Lakes would be desirable to add to the diversity of recreational opportunities available at the park." More recently, a request was made to proceed with rehabilitating the present fishery. This report will attempt to explain reasons for this rehabilitation and propose some practical methods of managing this fishery.
