Abstract
A study of a specific community of Portuguese immigrants and what they look for in a job, and how personal history factors, personal attitudes, and English language skills affect both what they want in a job and what jobs are available to them. The specific group surveyed is the eleven Portuguese male immigrants that were enrolled in the Selkirk College English Language Course in 1976. |
