Along with other wildlife values, deer wintering ranges are becoming increasingly scarce. This technical report was written with the intent that the habitat within a small deer wintering area would be appraised. From this habitat appraisal, a series of recommendations would be proposed. These recommendations would outline various habitat improvement techniques to increase the value of the Rosebud Lake area as a deer wintering area.
