CASTLEGAR NEWS, Thursday, April 4, 1963 Castlegar and District Fall Fair to be Held Sept. 20 - 21/ ‘The Castlegar and District Fall Fair Association held a general meeting last wock in the Logton Hall with 16 members present and Pete Ewart, tha president, presid- ing. It was decided that the ad- mission would) be the same as last year: adults 60c, students 25¢ and children under 12 year admit- ted free, Admission for those with booths was also discussed, There were five organzations represented at the mecting and it was suggest- that an invitation be sent to the Russian Women of Castlegar} to see if they would like to’ have their organization represented! The treasurer gave her report and said all outstanding bills have been paid. It was decided that the dance would .be omitted this year. It was the feeling of the meeting that it was mostly the young peo- ple who attended the dance and now they have their own dances “regularly. » A ratfle was discussed _ and this will be decided at a’ later date. A refreshment booth was also discussed and this will also be decided later.
