On March 21, 1994, Fred
Maloff Sr. passed away at
Kootenay Lake District_H
at the age of 67, after

battling cancer.

Fred was born December 10,
1926 at Lundbreck, a village near
Cowley, Alberta. At the age of

In 1944, Fred married Marie
Perepolkin and together have
raised four sons. AS a young
family, they all loved the
outdoors and did a lot of fishing
and picnicking. This August
marked a special time for their
family as Fred and Marie were
looking forward to celebrating
their Golden — wedding
anniversary.

In his younger years, Fred was

Rock and Tunnel Union and
worked on construction jobs
building some of the dams and
roads in our area. In his later
years, Fred ventured into
building a Cedar Shake mill at
his residence and has worked on
it up until his illness. Pred was a
great believer in God and Jesus
Christ. He enjoyed sharing this
belief with others by going to
church and attending the Full
Gospel Businessman's meetings.
Fred was predeceased by both
his parents, Fred and Tina (nee
Ozeroff), his brother John and
sister Dorothy.
He is survived by his wife
Marie, sons John (Katie) of
wood, Fred (Lorraine), Sid,
Ray (Lynn) all of Crescent Valley,
grandchildren Tammy and
Camille, Shellie and. Janet, and
Brian and Amanda, two sisters,
Mary Demoskoff (Alex) and
Mable Demoskoff, and many
nieces and nephews.

will be so greatly missed by his
family and friends. A Funeral
Service was held on Thursday,

in the Krestova
Cemetery.
