Over’the course of the night, a mock- murder will be committed, and it will be up to the guests of the host (who may or may not be dead!) to solve the mystery. The sleuths closest to solving the puzzle will be awarded with vari- Ous prizes; there will be a dance to follow. This will be the ideal event for the adventurous super-sleuth within all of us; it will prove to be an evening many will never forget! Once known as the Community Chest, it’s first meeting consisted of a group of Castlegar residents at the old Community Hall on May 30, 1946. The pur- pose of this meeting was to create an organiza- uon that would incorporate various canvassing | efforts in the Castlegar district; the eventuating | organization aided in the funding of sports and | recreation in the Castlegar district at the time.
