The bride is the daughter of Alex and Verna Sheloff of Slocan Park and the groom is the son of Fred and Tilda Sherbinin of Crescent Valley. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. For her wedding, the bride chose a sheer organza gown with a high, jeweled neckline and delicate embroidery. The gown was also decor- ated with a front ruffle, organza and lace leg o'mutton sleeves and it was trimmed at the bottom with tiers of lace. The gown swept back into a long train. The bride also wore a lace hat turned up at one side with a white rose and strands of pearls. It featured a floor- length veil. All flowers were done by Irene Martin of Nelson. The bride carried a silk bouquet of deep red and white roses complemented with stephan- otis. She. also wore pearl ear- rings, a delicate gold chaih ‘and a gold bracelet borrowed from her aunt. Maid-of honor-was ‘Kathy: * Rilkoff,.cousin of: the rbride., * She wore a burgundy:jersey, floor-length gown with spa- ghetti straps and a jacket of sheer organza with lace.and a high frilled jeweled neckline. The gown also featured bish- op sleeves. The same style of gown was worn by bridesmaids Tammy Swetlikoff and Chris- tine Poohachoff. e couple now resides in Shoreacres. Sheloff, Sherbinin married : The attendants carried bouquets of silk cream roses ard burgundy lilies tied with‘ ribbons that were accented with lace trim. They also wore pearl earrings, a gift from the bride. Flower girl, Tammy Sher- binin, the’bride's niece, wore ' a full-length pink gown with burgundy ribbon around the waist. In her hair she wore burgundy flowers and she carried a basket of pink and burgundy flowers. She also wore a pearl necklace, a gift from the bride. - Eugene Voykin, nephew. of the groom, was the ring- bearer. He wore a suit similar to the bestman, Rod Varney, and ushers Peter Repin and Tom Koftinoff. The beautiful three-tiered wedding cake was decorated with burgundy and pink flowers and was made by Shirley Gritchen. It was displayed on a hand cro- cheted table cloth made by the bride's great-grandmoth- er. The couple took a wedding trip to Vancouver and Vic- toria. They now reside in Shoreacres.
