Mary Fominoff shares testimony

At the April meeting of
Women’s Aglow Fellowship,
the annual retreat in Nelson
at the end of April was
announced.

It will be held at the David
Thompson University Centre
this weekend.

Registrations will be ac-

which begin Friday at 7:30

shared her testimony. She

ious physical healings she re-
ceived when God healed her
through prayers of Chris-
tians. She encouraged that in
healing, “If He can do for
others, He'll do it for you,

10 years of her early life in
Michigan, she attended a
country school.

Not liking school in general
in early grades, she enjoyed
Wednesdays, when “the
Bible lady” would come.

At the age of 10 she ac-
cepted Christ.

Although Mrs. Smith was
very shy as a child, she said
she felt the Lord directing
her and said she knew she
would be in a ministry where
she would be speaking.

At age 14 she began teach-
ing Sunday School.

for bravery to Mr. Nielson.

Prior to the event, Mrs.
Lipsett had arranged for
Linda Hall to present a short
program of songs, several of
her own composition, and all
accompanied by her guitar.

After thanking Mrs. Hall
for her contribution, Mrs.
Lipsett turned the meeting
over to her co-chairman, Mrs.
Edith Heslop, who engin-
