He joined Cominco in the same year and worked on exploration in northwestern Quebec. In the Canadian Army from 1942 to 1946, Mr. Richardson served as an officer in the Royal Canadian Engineers and was awarded the Military Cross. He returned to Cominco in 1946 as an assistant geologist in the eastern district.
