A FORTUNE FOR A HUSBAND.

Farmer offers (650.90 to the Man Who Will
‘Wed His Daughter. B

Henry H. Croley, a wealthy farmer, of
LaSalle, N. ¥., announces that he will
give $50,000 to any man.who will marry
hia daughter Clara. The candidate for
the hand of Miss Croley must be hon-
est, sober, industrious and must bear a
good reputation. Mr. Croley gives out
the following signed statement:

“J am making thie offer in good faith,
‘but'I want it underatood that the man
who marries my girl must be one who
will settle down to business and will
use his money judiciously and notsquan-
der it) Any young man below the age
of 40 years will be illegible, and if they
will send me their names with descrip-
tions of themselves snd their habits

of the candidates is found to be accep-

Miss Croley, who has passed her 30th
year is an only daughter, and will prob-
ably inherit her father’s estate, said to
‘be worth $200,000. The daughter is a
brunette, tall and graceful, but hardly
handsome.
