Mr. West advised ‘Kinnaird has al- ready approved the application. Mr. West said there were numerous cracks in the runway to be repaired, in fact 12 to 14 miles of cracks, he said, as there’ are a number of them running the length of the field. Asked by Council if the new flight being arranged daily to Castlegar would not bring added fees, Mr, West said the landing fee is only about $4.00 for a plane such as the DC3 belng put on the run, so that no great amount would be realized.
