The final score in Saturday's game was 7-6, but unfortunately for the Rebels, the scoreboard lights favored the visitors from Spokane. Even though they did not come out on top as far as scoring the goals, the team played a solid game according to Co. coach Gary Sauer “There was not any time when the guys eased up, everyone played well.” One of the main things the coaches have been trying to make. more consistent is how the team performs on the powerplay. “Our powerplay worked well, Gord Walker has really beens working on that’aspect of the game during practice, unfortu nately our penalty killing was not as good,” Sauer said WEST KOOTENAY ts Ces SPECIALISTS IN +» RESIDENTIAL & COMMERCIAL CARPETS + + LINOLEUMS +» WINDOWS COVERINGS CERAMIC TILE + Largest Selection ot in-stock lino & carpets in the Kootenays! 4370 MINTO RD., CASTLEGAR (INDUSTRIAL PARK) - 365-2265 * HARDWOODS &- The Rebels scored three pow. erplay goals, but * The Rebels had only 13 play- ers suited up for the - Spokane powerplay was in better work ing order, scor ing six of their goals with play er advantages.
