aml ‘Castléai News November 29, 1987 Voykin weds Dunne The marriage of Yvonne Dunne to Steven Voykin took place on Aug. 22 in Kim- berley, B.C. The bride's par- ents, Dave and Sandi Dunne, are from Groundbirch, B.C., and the groom's parents, Fred and Nina Voykin, are from Castlegar. The maid of honor was Melanie Leisle, and brides- maids were Rosemarie Thomason and Karen Voy- kin. The best man was Brian Voykin and mn were Derek Famulak, and David Dunne. The ceremony took place in the Sacred Heart Church with Father John Doherty officiating. The reception took place at the Centennial Hall, which was decorated with pink and aqua decorations. A dance followed. The couple chose Love Me Tender for their first dance. ‘The groom and groomsmen wore grey tuxedoes. The groomalso wore a dusty rose bow tie and cummberbund. The groomsmen wore pink cummberbunds and bow ties. The bridesmaids wore pretty pink three-quarter length dresses that had a wy cut in the back and an ‘A’ line waist. ‘The bride wore a gorgeous “fluffy” white dress with an elegant pattern of beadwork on the bodice with a pretty lace neckline. The dress was floor-length and it came tight COMMUNITY NEWS ‘at the waist and tapered out to a very full bottom. ‘The skirt of the dress had an appliqued pattern of flowers encompassing it, and had a ruffled bottom part that almost looked like bub- bles. The dress was made of a shiny satin-like material that sparkled. The bride's bouquet con- sisted of 16 cascading pink roses with greenery and aqua highlighting. There was an open house for gift opening the day after the wedding at the bride's grandparent’s house, Agnes and Roy Carlson. The newlyweds are living in Victoria, where they at- tend the University of Vic- toria. MR. AND MRS.
