The winners of this event are strictly top secret. Then on Friday the monthly duel for the Hi Arrow Challenge Trophy took place, with Founda- tion-Dravo coming out on top thanks to Mr. Callaway and his system of handicapping. Last Saturday was the ever popular Calcutta Tournament. Nick Burak, a real dark horse, upset all the experts when he led his team to sweeping vic- tories both in the low gross and the low net sections, Nick also won the low net individual with a score,of 67. The team consisted of Len Harmston, Alex Perehudoff, and captain Nick Burak total score of 250, They were managed by Peter. Polovnikoff for low gross and Bill Oleski for Jow net. Otto Walker caddied for Nick’ to help him in ‘the low net, However, the highlight of the event was when Nick Burak, Jim Bilesky, and Bill Perehudoft were involved in a. sudden- death play-off for low gross be- cause they had all shot an 80. It looked like Bill was out of it on No. 2 when he flubbed his shot off the tee, but trees and the out-of-bounds area did not fluster him’ because, wi luck, skill and determination, he was able to match Jim stroke for stroke. Dropping Nick along the way, Jim and Bill stormed up No. 4 Jim had his usual rou- tine putt, an up-hill stroke, while ‘Bill was confronted with a 10- PUBLIC NOTICE REMINDER!
