The 'spiel saw some excellent curling on some very good ice and the results were excellent too. Top prize in the championship round went to the Gil LeMoel rink of Trail with Al McAulay, Al Faunt and Bill Leaman. He defeated the Bill Holland rink of Nelson who had George Barefoot as skip, himself third, Dick Rowe second and Bob Thommasen lead. This Nelson rink knocked our Rossland rink of Phil Bateman, Bert Morrow, Jack Hook and yours truly, out of competition in the fours of ·the championship rowid. In the " C" event the Bill Vickers rink of Rossland won out over the Carl Henne rink of Castlegar. Bill had Tommy Clark third, Carl Seefeldt second and Freddie Munroe lead, wfille Carl had Bill Brady third, Ab Culley second and Nick Burak lead.
