ROSSLAND EVENING RECORD, DECEMBER 7, 1899. A FORTU br. and Mire. Ken covering From Thetr Injuries. Dr, and Mrs. Kenning, who were injured in a runaway last evening, are much improved today. Mrs. Kenning was badly bruised and it was thought the doctor had sustained internal injuries. Two broken ribs were, fortunately, the extent of the injuries. . Dr. and Mrs. Kenning had gone out for their usual afternoon drive and when coming down First avenue the horse was frightened by dogs and bolted down the street. At the Washington street corner the doctor tried to turn the horse up the hill, but was unsuccessful and the, animal plunged into the window of the headquarters saloon. The doctor and his wife were both thrown from the cutter. Many witnessed the accident and every possible assible assistance was ren- dered the injured ones. —_ BUSINESS LOCALS. wo Are Moth Reo The best saddle horses at the Montana; phone 6.
