Joseph Fraitzl of Castlegar died Oct. 22, 1990, in the extended-
care home in Rossland. He was 85.

Mr. Fraitzi came to Canada from Germany in December 1951.
He worked for Celgar in Nakusp and then in Castlegar.

He is survived by his brother Mike of Nakusp and his sister
Elizabeth of Germany. He was predeceased by his wife Helen in 1975.

The memorial service was held in the Catholic Church of Our
Lady of Lourdes in Nakusp. Mr. Fraitz] is to be buried alongside his

Anne Voykin of Castlegar, formerly of Pass Creek, passed away

Mrs. Voykin was born Nov. 29, 1910, at Pelly, Sask., and moved
with her parents to Glade in 1912.'The family moved to Ootischenia
and she married Ely Voykin there. In 1935, the family moved to Pass
Creek where she lived until moving into Castlegar in 1988. Mrs.
Voykin was an active member of the USCC and enjoyed gardening,

She is survived by two sons, Leonard of Pass Creek and Fred of
Castlegar; one daughter, Helen Kinakin of Thrums; 10 grandchildren;
‘one great-grandson; three sisters, Mary Gorkoff and Leda Antifaeff
of Blewett and Helen Tomlin of Castlegar; brother Fred Pozdnikoff
of Nelson and step-brother, John Pozdnikoff of Grand Forks. She
husband Ely in 1982, daughter Vera
Mike Kinakin in 1988.

Cultural Centre with burial in the Pass Creek Cemetery.
