Pepsi Cola bottlers are happy to announce the continuation of
their a ski show program again this fall,’

Pepsi Cola Aerial Acrobats will perform amazing displays of
death defying acrial stunts on a professional model *'Round" tram-
poline. Demonstration team members will show you the exact ‘
moves used to win World Cup Aerial meets. Double somersaults,
twists and turns, half in- half outs and if the conditions are right, even
the Indescribable “TRIFUS" (triple front flip with a half twist).
Certainly a fantastic show you won't want to miss.

Pepal Cota Ski Deck Includes top Canadian World Cup Skters
demonstrating freestyle routines on a motorized ski slope, one of
only three In Canada. The'aki deck is actually a motorized revolving
carpet and allows the skiers on the deck to ski endlessly. The
performing team {s able to do just about anything that can be dore
on snow, live in the mall. An informative explanation and demon-
strations of Freestyle Skiing will take place using the ski deck. Team

members pull no stops in this fast paced display of acrobatic skiing
skill.

Jim 17 years old from Calgary, Alber-
ta, His outstanding athletic ability led him
into a competitive life at a very early age.
‘By the time Jim was 14 years old he had /
competed. nationally in Gymnastics,“
Skateboarding and trampolining: He also
represented Canada in 1975 at the World
Gymnastles Festival in West Berlin, Ger-

any.

The Alberta Government Achieve-
ment Award was presented to Jim in both
1979 and 1980.

7 Even with Jim's hectic training
schedule, he still found time to become an
accomplished skier. Both trampolining and
gymnastics were a tremendous asset to
Jim's: freestyle skiing, consequently he
learned fast and by 1978 was Alberta's top
amateur freestyle competitor. Starting in
1979 Jim was a chosen member of the Nar
tional Juhior Freestyle Team.

Jim enjoys fast cars and travelling.
Every summer he likes training at Ore-
gon’s Mount Hood, The Whistler Mountain
Water Ramp and at home in Calgary. The
‘only trouble is that he will plan to do one
day of training at each place and hopes t
do it all within three days . . . Jim’s motto
“everything | is 10 minutes away if you drive
fast enough.”
