The girls placed second in the tournament, losing out to Trail and Nelson. This Saturday the Jr. Volley- ball teams travel to Rossland for their tournaments, These teams have been hard at work practis- ing for the past few weeks. On Saturday a meeting of all grade elevens was held to elect convenors for the various committees in connection with graduation. The theme this year is being based on the Centennial idea. Barbara Martin was chosen general convenor. Other conven- ors elected were Judy Waterman, to be used when woods, The second film, entitled ‘Spruce Bug’ illustrated how these bugs are formed. I'm sure the students learned a lot from these very interesting and edu- cational films.
