DESCRIPTION OF THE STRUCTURE The Iee’Is Already in Fine Condition —Some Details Are to Be Finished Yet. Next Monday evening at 8 o'clock the new skating rink on the corner of Spo- kane street and Second avenue will be thrown open to the public for the firat time by the Rossland Skating & Curling Rink Company, limited. The doors will be open at. 7:30, p. m., on that evening for all who, wish. to attend. Benches have been put in place both in the gallery and down on the main land- ing for the accommodation of all comera. The Rossland Independant band will be in attendance and furnish appropr-ate music for the occasion. The main ice plat or rink is 160 feet long by 70 feet wide in theclear. Some free lectures could be obtained, but they would soon come to an end and the achool too.
