The Nixons were both very active in a club that Bill called for at Genelle in the 1950's, and they were peer Set members of George and Mary Woods’ G-Bar-M Club in Trail for several years before they joined the MeMixers. ‘The Nixons said they have seen many changes in square dancing through the years, the dancing now being more elabor- ate with a greater variety of basic movements than 60 years ago, but they still find dancing enjoyable and are very en- thusiastic about it. When asked about plans for the future, Bill said, “We're going to keep on going for years and years yel.” And everyone who meets this energetic and youthful-loaking couple will be- lieve they are going to do just that.
