A total of $1160 was distributed among 119 award winners, During 1957 over $6,000 was shared by successful contributors .of practical ideas, The number of suggestions made through the year amounted to 1808, with an average of 40 per cent being ad- opted, Highest award of $50 in the latest list was received by Mr. McKinnon of the Smelting De- partment at Trail.
