The strike not only con- cerns them —-we the students are affected more. ‘For example: Relate the whoje situation to a football game. Two teams are going to play, each other in a final game, whith neither of them will win. One: side is CUPE; the other the School board. However, we the “students, are the football. “Actually, in the final game, the ‘football doesn't have any- thing to do with this game. It's the two sides that are involved — each trying to beat the other. Thejfootball, however, is get- ting; the bad deal out of this game. The football (the stu- dents) get kicked around, thrown away and roughly handled. This is a perfect * example of what is happening. ~:Our education is getting thrown away by the fact that we gre not able to go to school on a-regular basis, I guess you wouldn't understand how much « extta work we have to fit into 40 niinutes and three times that at Home. Especially when half of the homework you can't understand. and the CUPE workers, think that this is the way of solving your problem. Even I can tell you that it's foolish, and I'm only 16. I just hope that all you so- called mature adults ‘will think this over, so that we, the students, can at least get a proper education and a chance in life. - .
