She is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband George and children Ken, John and Kim (Don) Skirten, also by her two sisters Pauline and Marilyn, and her brother Fred. Funeral services where held Jan. 8 at the Glade Hall. Interment took place Saturday, Jan. 9, at noon. In lieu of flowers, friends and relatives are asked to make a donation in Lily’s name to the Castlegar Hospital Auxiliary at the Castlegar and District Hospital, 709-10th Street. RES SG EOE ES © OE TES SS ER Mike Taranoff On Sunday, Jan. 10, 1993, Mike Taranoff of Blueberry Creek passed away at the age of 67 years. Funeral service was held at the Castlegar Funeral Chapel on Tuesday and Wednesday with burial in the Glade Cemetery. Mr. Taranoff was born Aug. 2, 1925 at Brandon, Man. He moved with his parents to New Westminster in 1927. He grew up there and began working in a sawmill. For two and a half years he worked on ships that went over- seas.
