Collinson) FALL FASHIONS This is the season when all women are interested in new clothes, but in looking through our new fall fashion books or: even our favorite © magazines, what meets the eye! Beautiful clothes, ' yes,’ and. admittedly smart styles, but the models are another story. ‘ I look longingly, I.admit, at their Jong lean forms and droopy shoulders, (usually they are hol- low eyed too) with deep‘ blue shadows under. them. I've tried the same trick, and all. it does for me is ‘to’ give.me a rather ive’ look, or else J am Chudch, Rev. W. In the world Series the Yanks won over the New York * Giants -4 games to 2, I guess the Giants ran out of miracles. The Kats in winning the first seriior women's championship for Castlegar had quite a record this year when. they played ‘37 games, winning 26, losing 10 and tying 1. : They scored 369 runs and had 277 scored against them.
