At least mowtWe way we plan it, My partner and I are foreyer wading’ aA puddles of worry Over the financial challenges of raising a family. Believe me, we definitely s area of ur'fives. We have finally come to realize no matter how hard we try, save for ‘winning the “big "| we are never going to be without stress over the Jereen stuff” Recent months have seen us diligently adhering to our ‘budget in an effort to clean up a few bills and get ahead of ourselves. We strutted around the house, proud of our achievements, and then - bang!!! Trouble snuck up “from critter) and bit us right where it counts about in the form of a vehicle accident whereby “yours truly” drove over a healthy sized “rock” on the Salmo-Creston pass. Oh, it was no ordinary boul der for sure, it actually moved in front of our brand new vehiclé. There was likely only one hunk of mountain of this magnitude careening down the cliff looking for some excitement in the whole province of British Columbia and I of course, had to “be there” Well, they say there’s a reason for everything and I'm seeking enlightenment for this event. To top if off, ICBC insists this is a collision claim rather than comprehen sive. In other words if I hit a moving deer, I'm not con sidered at fault, but hey, a moving rock - well, what was I thinking of? Why didn't I jump or something? This seems all very ridigulous indeed, as a matter of fact 1 di covered while visibly inspecting the ICBC manual (1 wonder if my Rep has two of them) that an animal dox to qualify for comprehensiv« coverage. This boul der unfortunately was bald and so I'm out of willing Brenda Scatterty luck. In all fairness, it would require an abnormal degree of BSP to have avoid ed this mishap. But wail, that's evidence of a “flying object” and would qualify. Even my justifications that we're dealing with a four whéel drive until the entire “belly” was ripped, indicating this was a big rock, and that no one in their right mind would choose to drive over such an animal, did no good. The Rep remained unmoved So there are (wo types of behavior 1 could choose over this unfortunate incident. I fluctuated between the two for awhile. There's the victim/reactor who. is certain the whole world has just caved in on them and life will never be the same.
