CASTLEGAR NEWS, Thursday June 5, 1958 Brilliant School Holds Tea The Junior Red Cross of Bellliant School held a very suc- veessful tea and sale of work last “Thursday, Proceeds were used to pur- schase a wheel chair for the “Castlegar and District Hospital which was given to the Hospital Tuesday. ‘The tea tables were set up ‘in Division 11 and the room was tastefully decorated with spring flowers and Centennial bunting. Mrs. J. Webster and Mrs. J. Cher- noff presided at the tea table. The girls acted as serviteurs and performed their task very well. As usual the bake table was 4he most popular spot. It was loaded with cakes, cookies, fudge, home-made bread and_ several quart jars of borsch.
