This force is described in the Bible as, “The victory that overcomes the world, even our FAITH”. It is the most powerful of all forces operating within a person. When faith is in operation, hopeless situations can be turned around and answers to seem- ingly impossible problems can be found. It is a force that goes beyond our human under- standing and reasoning and enables us to tap into the very power of God which is able as the | Bible tells us, “to move mountains” in our lives. I recall the numbers of times that I have heard people share with me how, when faced with difficulties that seemed insurmountable, they chose to believe in God and take Him at His word and as a result the situation turned around. As a result they were no longer simply enduring life but rather found themselves mastering it. The Bible tells us that “faith comes by hearing the word of God”. When we are confronted with difficulties it is important to be hearing and perceiving the right information, for this alone will inspire within us the faith needed to overcome. Should you somehow think you don’t have enough of this faith, take heart, Jesus said you would only need as much as the size of a mustard seed to move an obstacle in life that _seemed as big as a mountain. Some have erroneously compared faith to “a leap in the dark” but a more proper explanation would be “a leap into the light” - the light that comes from God’s word. This faith is available to all who will hear the word of God and comes as you open your life to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Why not do this today and then attend one of the churches you see advertised and share your decision with someone there!
