Cut Gas Costs @ Ignition: system—New ion of New Area Ministry On June 13 the Right Reverend Fraser Berry, Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Kootenay, will conduct a ser- vice in St. Andrew's Church, Trail, in which the new area ministry, serving the Anglican parishes of Salmo, Fruitvale, Trall, Rossland, Castlegar and Robson, will be inaugurated. Representatives of the par- ticipating parishes have been working for several months on plans to form such a ministry which would be served by a team of three priests, one of whom will be Castlegar. Under the provisions of the new proposal, each parish will retain, for the time being at least, its present identity, atructure, church committee, ete, with full responsibility for the life and work of the parish, n area council has been formed with one warden elect- - ed by each parish and ‘is responsible for communication with the parishes and between * the parishes.
