Pallbearers were E.H.Fleetwood,Larry Krause, Lloyd Krueger and L. Hackett. Burial was in Mountain View cemetery. ROBSON--Charles John Thorndale, aged 66, died Friday morning at.his home in Robson. MreThorndale was born in Chel- tenham, Enge, on Jano24, 1885, coming to Canada in 1905. Prior to taking up residence in Trail, Mr.Thorndale spent a few years in Ontario and had resided in Nelson until 1915. He was employed by the OM&S asa crane man and as fore- man of the leaching plant carpenter, crewe Upgn his retirement in 1942 he left to make his home at Robson. He was an ardent gardener and an active member of the K.of Po. lodge. He is survived by his wife Jane; three daughters, Mrs.JoBrannen of Otta- wa, MrsoArthur Dafoe of Warfield and Mrs.M.AeMoran of 1940 Oak St., two sons James Re of Robson, Charles W..of San Lorenzo,Calife, and elght grandchildren.
