Fire chief Ed Lewis re- ported the burning of only a small area taking in approxi- mately a 30-foot circle. This area had been contro} burned early in the spring, leaving very little for the fire, which is believed to have started by children, to burn and spread. Mr. Lewis did stress the importance: of. contacting the fire department, preferably by telephone, rather than using the fire hall's only outside fire alarm and remaining until the fire department has been given details as to where the equipment is needed.
