Man is Dead
Following Fire
Last Thursday

Alex Poznecov, 56, of
Castlegar, was pronounced
dead on arrival at Castlegar
District Hospital last Thursday
following a house fire at 855 -
5th Ave., Castlegar.

Mr. Poznecov, a widower,
was the lone occupant of the
house.

Castlegar firemen, res-
ponding to the call at 3:45 p.m.,
found Mr. Poznecov uncon-
scious in a bedroom of the
house.
