the Mogul Mashers, a team lead by Alderman
Marilyn Mathieson, who pulled together
$1,185 in pledges at the KBS Ski for Life.
Gardner said that KBS has an audience of
“about 50 or 60 thousand, so our listeners do-
nated more than a buck a head.”
Gardner also said that this was the first
year KBS had attempted such a campaign,
and that it was “a little unorganized” at times.
“We're bigger and better now than when we

started,” Gardner said.

“We're looking forward to an even higher
total next year.”
