Once again it is the season
of the year when wood ticks are
prevelant in this ns However,
there is absolutely no need to
fear or avoid tick- infested coun:
try. A little knowledge and a
few simple, precautions are all
that is needed ee avold the oc-
casional tick bite.

The ‘season of greatest par-
alysis tick activity is between
March :and ‘June, During this
period ticks may be present on
almost all scrub vegetation and
grass, They do not drop ‘out of
large trees. Enjoy normal out-
door activity, but give due re-

ter removal of the tick, she made
a complete recovery.
