Gray this morning pleaded guilty before Judge Boultbee to three charges of issuing checks on banks in which he had no funds and was sentenced to six months in the Nelson jail on each charge, the three terms to run concurrently. * Wize-Dixon Marriage. James E. Wize, the builder and contractor of this city, and Miss Lucy M. Dixon, daughter of the late William Dixon, carriage man- ufacturer of Toronto, were married at 4 p. m. on Christmas day at the residence of the bride’s mother on ‘Third avenue by Rev. Mr. Headlee,of the Church of England. The wed- ding was attended only by the near relatives of the bride. The couple left on the evening train for Nelson, Spokane and other points.
