TORONTO (CP) — Pros-
pective purchasers of the
Chinese edition of Trivial
Pursuit had better start bon-
ing up on details of the Great
Wall.

A Chinese version of the
game is being manufactured
by Shanghai Toy Import and
Export Corp. and will be on
sale in China next April or
May.

And Blake LeBlanc, man-
aging director of Barbados-
based Horn Abbot Inter-
national, said that when the
Chinese writers were dis-
cussing potential questions in
Bridgetown last week, many
of them dealt with the Great
Wall.

His company, which is af-
filiated with Horn Abbot Ltd.
of St. Catharines, Ont., is
supervising the writing, man-
ufacturing and marketing of
the Chinese game but has no
control over the content of
the questions.

“You can be assured there
won't be much political con-
tent,” he said.

tions.of All Saints Evening.

In blindfolds they were
then led, to the accompani-
ment of considerable scream-
ing and excitement, through
the haunted house. After-
ward they sat down to a
lavish Halloween cake and
refreshment.

It will be another Canadian
experience, fully documented
on film by Doris Sweeney,
that they will be able to take
back to their home countries
next year.

For local Rotary families
and friends, there will be a
children’s Christmas party
again this year. Convened by
Inga Lamont, it takes place
at the Nordic Hall today at 4
p.m. Music, goodies and of
course Santa Claus will be
featured.
