Vancouver, following. reports
that the canary. treats may
contain marijuana seeds. ~

recently as Royal Canadian
Mounted Police officials were
waiting for a crop of the bird-
seed to sprout. .-

The RCMP is trying to
determine if the mixture actu-
ally contains the high-grade
African marijuana seeds as
reported by the National Or-
ganization -for the Reform of
Marijuana Laws (NORML).
