started last Monday in the
Robson Church Hall with
classes to follow at 7:30 p.m. on
future Mondays, depending on
the need for all who would like
to learn more about knitting,
crochet, hairpin lace and
broomstick crochet. For further

Mrs. Ballard was given a
hearty vote of thanks for all the
years she has been on the

noted Mrs. Ballard has held this
posilion‘since 1937, a: period of
87 years.

Mrs. Salekin decorated a

heart Valentine cake which was

raffled with the proceeds going
to the heart fund.’ Mrs.
Marshall won the cake. Mrs.
Stier was’ the winner of the
booster prize.

The Women's Institute will
hold its 22nd Biennial Conven-
tion.at Notre Dame University

at Nelson, June 10 to 13.
