The couple were married by their parents. The bride wore a. white satin floor-length gown with floral lace overlay with a full skirt and fitted bodice, ac- cented with miniature pearls, short puffy sleeves and a long flowing train. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Antonio Costa of Castlegar and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. William Shlakoff of Glade. \ ‘The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white full-length gown made of beautiful sheer chiffon with a three-foot train. The top half of the dress was adorned with pearl beads designed in a flower shape and the sleeves were embroidered with flowers. She carried a traditional bouquet of--white roses, baby’s breath and greenery, and Wore a diamond necklace in a shape of a heart and pearl and diamond earrings as jewelry. Jennifer Chernenkoff of Glade, niece of the groom, was flower girl and the bride's nephew, Jason Bilinski of Vancouver, was ring bearer. The attendants wore full-length dresses with plain but pretty half-sleeves and V-necks in both front and back. Each attendant’s dress was a different color — pastel purple for the maid of honor, and pastel blue, dusty rose and pink for the bridesmaids. They wore matching hats with a back veil and flowers. The attendants carried bouquets of baby’s breath and carnations which matched the color of their. dresses. ” Frank Costa, of Castlegar, brother-of the bride, was best man.
