Twenty-four-year-old Ir- win is a 1979 graduate of Capilano College's outdoor recreation management pro- gram. He spent the past summer with the recreation’ fitness branch in Nelson whére he has been complet- ing a study in recreation in the West Kootenay for the provincial government.
