Among the correspondence was a check for the annual gov- ‘ernment grant:-for $10.'and also a thank-you note from the adop- tee at the crippled childrens’ hospital. In response to an. invita- jon for members to go to the handicapped childrens’ meeting, Mrs, Hubert and Mrs, Suther- land. volunteered. Mrs. Hubert is to attend the Fall Fair meet: The usual $25 is to be paid to the secretary-treasurer for her year’s work. th regard to the play: ground equipment -it ‘was de- -elded to obtain definite per- mission to use the property own- ed by the Anglican Church in Robson before making any fur- ‘ther, plans. A teacher from the Castle- gar.school gave an interesting talk and the education commit- tee presented the. bursary at the school. A. plant sale was held in May and the Strawberry festival in July. A coffee party was held during the summer in aid of the hospital.
