That evening a dance was held at the Regional Recreation Complex. “A” Event Winners: Bill Van Yzerloo rink of Castlegar-Jack Chernoff, third; Bob Bagg, second; and Bill Brody, lead, Runner-up in the “A” event: Paul Jorgenson rink of Nelson—G, Brise, third; D. Simpson, second; and E. Jor- genson, lead, “B” Event Winners: Glen Archambault rink of the Marpole Curling Club, Vancouver—B, Holden, third; P, Hollands, second; and F. Master of ceremonies at the banquet was C. Henne, who did a fine job at short notice. The club members are also not -forgetting the host of volunteers who prepared food, helped at the banquet and manned the bar during the entire weekend. Without all their help, it would not be possible to hold such a successful bonspie}, and it speaks well of the Curling Club that so much assistance is available when called upon, Local Midget Reps Win Wind-Up Game Castlegar’s Midget. Rep team won its final inter-city + league game on Saturday in Nelson by a narrow 3-2 margin. Dan Barnes, Mike Nevak- shonoffand Perry Horning each scored one goal, with Allan Tsakson adding two assists and bonspiel, under the “direction of the president of the men’s club W. Osterman and bonspiel chairman J, Stewart. Thanks are extended to the ledies' club for the catering, ably organized by Sharon Wal- die and Mary MacAlpine.
