Refunds issued for documented medical and/or compassionate

reasons will be reduced by the amount of the non-refundable seat

deposit and will not exceed 75 percent of the assessed tuition and

Senior citizens (65+ years) may take courses and pay 50 percent of
tuition and fees subject to availability of seats.

Applicants must meet course admission requirements, obtain

Upon acceptance, all applicants are required to pay a minimum
non-refundable seat deposit of $100 to reserve their space in

ACTIVITY FEE

Students are assessed fees for campus
recreation and student activities and are listed
under fees on all program web pages.

SELKIRK COLLEGE STUDENT UNION

In addition to tuition fees, all students are
required to pay student union fees. Fees are set
by the Selkirk College Student Union (SCSU).

The SCSU has implemented a Health and
Dental Benefits Plan. As a member of the
SCSU, students are required to either pay a
premium (fee) for this plan or to complete

an opt-out process, within stated deadlines,
available at selkirkstudents.ca. Please contact
the SCSU office for more information.

SPECIAL FEES

Programs may have additional fees to offset
special program costs. Consult the program
web page of your choice for details.

PRIOR LEARNING ASSESSMENT FEE

The regular course fee applies to credits
granted as a result of Prior Learning
Assessment (PLA). For more information
refer to the program web page for contact
information for each program.

LEARNING RESOURCE FEE

A fee of ten percent of course tuition is
assessed to all students. The fees collected

are allocated on an annual basis to upgrade
computer labs, increase evening and weekend
availability of computer labs and studios, and
support student resource projects.
