They have been thinking about it for four months, when they ought to have done all their think- ing upon the subject before it was passed. But it is better late than never, and Premier Semlin and his cabinet are entitled to the thanks of every working man and every working man’s friend for having the courage to enforce the law. It is:sincerely'to be hoped that the mine owners--will accept the law and obey it withont bringing trouble upon the country by trying te annull it by re- ducing wages.
