It’s yours. We'll talk about shat you want to talk about, we'll go where you want to go, play what you want to play. Time — quality and quantity. 3. Consistency. 4. Commitment. We are told by psychologists that the most important relationship in the family is the marriage. Both quality of the parent-child bond and the child’s security are largely dependent on the quality of the marital bond. “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loves the church, and gave himself for it.’” A man’s first responsibility is to his own family, to care for them and lead them in the right path. Everything a father does in the presence of a son or daughter is an implantation of what the father is to the children. A child does not become what the father says, he becomes what the father is! The father is to model the Christian life in all of its practical aspects as work, morality, ethics and spiritual things. Dad, take time with your family. Love and affirm your wife and children. Make them feel uncon- ditionally accepted. Serve them un- selfishly and unreservedly. Look to God for wisdom and strength to be the husband age father you ought to be. The family that “‘prays’’ together “‘stays’’ together. The family that ‘‘plays’’ together has ‘‘happy days.”” The family that “‘talks’’ together ““walks"* together. -The—family that as “‘fun’’ together will be ‘‘one’’ together. ,-- 365 3563 DENNIS ‘BEDIN Res. 367. “7187 BIRTHS BOUVETTE/TICHIT — To Nicole Bouvette and Ron Tichit of Castlegar, @ boy, born June 3.
