Co. has announced the recall
of 178,000 Accord cars from
the 1982 model year to re-
place an electrical cable con-
necting the alternator and
the battery. The cable is too
small to handle maximum
current, which could cause
the battery to run down and

legislation on integrated education, its main role is to help.

the legal and appeal systems, says Kathleen Ruff, a human
rights activist who also helped organize the group.

Ruff says integration benefits everyone — the
handicapped pick up normal habits, while normal children
learn to accept the handicapped as human beings — and it
forces teachers not to square-peg anyone.

Dr. Marsha Forest, visiting scholar at the institute, says

give medication and an error is made? What happens if I
have to lift a crippled child and I can't?”

Her battle with the education system began in January
1981 when she tried to enrol her seven-year-old daughter
Jennifer, who is.mildly retarded, into her neighborhood's St.
Alfred separate school.

SEGREGATE HANDICAPPED

However, she ran into opposition because separate
