News and Highlights

For the information of the members and for the dis-

tion Society brings you some of the major highlights of -
of their activities and proposed plans.

-It was the unanimous decision of the Directors to

It is now definite that one central place of purchase

tances, and it should also be noted that Kinnaird may

The Catholic Women’s Teeeue of St. Rita's: Parish |
held their monthly meeting on Thursday svening with |
13 members present, and-the new president Mrs. S. :
Rysen in the chair. :

The meeting opened with the League. Prayer led by
Father Barnes.-The following reports were raad;- the
financial report by Mra. Hall, the Spiritual report by.

_Thank You cards. from several members who hed been in
the hospital and had received flowers were read. —

Plans for the Bake Sale to be held on May 22, were
discussed, end Mrs. Rysen, Mrs.-Hall and Mrs. Campbell
were appointed to convene the Sale..

It was’ suggested to appoint a committee to arrange a
‘farewell perty for any member who was “Leaving the dis-
-triect. Miss M. Gall and Miss Oleski were asked to take.
