Saturday, January 16, 1993 @ IN MEMORY @ Saturday, January 16, 1993 Petter (Morris) Egerdahl Petter Marius (Morris). Egerdahl was born to Martin and Anna Egerdahl in Hamaroy, Norway on May 28, 1902. He passed away Jan. 13, 1993. Morris immi- grated to Canada in 1930. He worked on farms, mining and operated a trap line near Flin Flon, Man., for several years. In the late 30s, he met his future wife, Gerd Bianca Pedersen, and they were mar- ried on Sept. 26, 1941 in Nelson and at first resided in Sheep Creek near Salmo then moved to Canal Flats and after to Nelson and in 1952 moved to Salmo where he worked for Canadian Exploration Mines un- til he retired.The last couple of years, he resided at Kiro Manor in Trail and finally at Hawthorne Care Centre in Port Coquitlam. Morris was predeceased by his wife, Gerd, and five brothers and a sister. He is survived by a sister Inga Ebbeson and a brother Magnus and wife Matilda Pedersen in Norway; his daughters, Linda Kositsin and Shirley Egerdahl of Vancouver and his sons Roy (Ursula) Evans of Port Coquitlam, Glen (Tracy) Egerdahl of Salmo and seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews in Norway. Memorial services will be held on Monday, Jan. 18, 1993 . Tina Golac On Wednesday, January 13, 1993, Tina Golac of Castlegar passed away at the age of 81 years. Funeral service was held at the Castlegar Funeral Chapel on Friday and Saturday with burial at the Brilliant Cemetery. Mrs. Golac was born on Sept.7, 1911 in Saskatchewan and came to Brilliant with her parents. She grew up in Brilliant, mar- ried Pete Golac there and lived all of her life there until moving to Castlegar a short t me ago. Mrs. Golac enjoyed her garden and sewing and especially her small farm and her animals. She is survived by nephew, John Milosevich of Raspberry. She was pre- deceased by her husband in 1973, one broth- er and one sister. In lieu of flowers, contri- butions may be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association, P.O. Box 184, Trail, B.c. V1R 4L5.
