Jet-set school run by Canadians TORONTO (CP) — An ex- clusive boarding school in the Swiss Alps that caters to the children of jet-set parents is owned and operated by a young Canadian couple from Fergus, Ont. Bill and Sandra Lovell, who went to Switzerland to work 10 years ago after graduating from University of Guelph, now own one of Europe's top English schools. Among the 40 children from 16 countries enrolled at the John F. Kennedy school are the children of Julie Andrews, Roger Moore, Gun- ther Sachs,-Spanish royalty and several wealthy Arab sheiks. However, there are no Canadians, said Sandra, who has retained her Cana- dian citizenship. ~ _ The school is located in Saanen, littlemore thanamile from Gstaad, recognized as one of the world’s jet-set capitals.” The Lovells arrived in 1971, after graduating and marrying, to work as tea- chers for a year or two.
